Laser Welded Finned Tube Product Description:
Murphy produces finned tubes by laser welding for increased efficiency and higher quality.
The fins (solid or serrated) are helically wound and continuously welded to the tube by a fully automatic laser finning machine. This new laser finning process produces a perfect fin-to-tube bond with lower heat input and improved efficiency in heat flow and resistance to corrosion.
Laser Welding Fin Tube Manufacturing Process:
Laser welding is a high intensity laser beam to the metal surface, through the interaction of laser and metal, metal absorption laser into heat to make the metal melt after the formation of cooling crystallization welding.
