Some global partners conducted on-site inspections of the production plants and were very satisfied with the inspection results and established long-term strategic cooperative relationships with our company.
Product Description
This integral low finned tubes are widely used as heat transfer tubes because of their large external surface area and high heat transfer performance compared with a plain tube. This enhanced surface fin tubes allows our customers to either reduce the size of the heat exchanger or increase its performance. The low finned tubes are designed to meet the most efficient and durable thermal performance for the most challenging situations and long lasting service life.Integral Low Fin tubing is kind of single metal fin tube, which is a type of extruded tubing that consists of small low fins. The low fin tube is very similar to the extruded "high fin" types but these tubes have the same diameter as the base tube.Low Fin Enhanced tubes can be used in stand shell and tube baffles and tube sheets. The primary advantage for the low fin tube is providing surface enhancement and better heat transfer over smooth tubing.Low finned tubes have been successfully used for controlling the temperature of gases and liquids or for evaporating and condensing refrigerants. As mentioned before, due to their enlarged heat transfer surfaces, they provide considerable potential for savings by reducing the tube length that is needed to achieve the required performance of the unit.Integral low fin tube for use in situations where extended surface is required, but lack of space or heat exchanger type dictates otherwise.
Manufacturing Process:
The Tube and Fin are in same material. After rolling process, the outer surface of tube is formed with thread, which makes the finned tube have a higher heat transfer capacity.
Integral Low Fin TubeApplications
Low-Fin Tubes are used in shell and tube type heat exchangers to improve energy efficiency in refining, petrochemical, LNG, power generation, refrigeration, heating and air conditioning plants world-wide.

FAQ
1. What is the fin efficiency?
Fin efficiency is defined as the ratio of actual heat flow of the fin to that which would be obtained with a fin of constant temperature uniformly equal to the base surface temperature, that is, one with infinite thermal conductivity.
2. What are low finned tubes?
Low Finned tube is a finned tube obtained through plastic cold deformation. The method consists in realizing, from a smooth tube, fins with a particular geometric form without removing material; this plastic deformation causes an increment of heat exchange efficiency, and allows to reduce the heat exchanger size.
3. How are low fin tubes made?
Low finned tubes involve rotational processing of the outer surface of steel tubes to create a fin shape. A steel pipe length of 25.4 mm (1 inch) per fin and 19 fins is a design often used. We can also produce units with 26 fins.
4. What are advantages of integral low finned tubes?
Provides 2.5 to 3 times the external surface area of bare tube
Reduced capital cost for new equipment
Reduced retrofitting cost for existing equipment
Space, weight & structural savings
More materials & alloys to select
Reduced maintenance & life cycle cost
